Completion of Corrective Action Plan (CAP) for Express Pipeline Ltd. (Express) Focused Audit of Sub-element 4.2 Investigation and Reporting Incidents and Near-Misses

The National Energy Board (NEB or the Board) issued its Final Audit Report of Express on 9 December 2016. Express submitted a CAP to the Board on 3 January 2017, which the Board approved on 16 January 2017. On 31 March 2017, Express submitted a letter confirming that it had completed all the corrective actions identified in its CAP. The Board has assessed Express’ corrective and preventive actions and the Board is satisfied that Express has completed the approved CAP and that it has addressed the findings of audit. As such, the Board considers that the audit of Express is closed.
