Participant Funding Program
The Canada Energy Regulator (CER) administers a Participant Funding Program (PFP) to facilitate the participation of the public – and, in particular, the Indigenous peoples of Canada and Indigenous organizations – in public hearings under section 52 or subsection 241(3) of the Canadian Energy Regulator (CER) Act and any steps leading to those hearings. Please note that PFP is not available for detailed route hearings.

To request funding, please return a completed funding request [PDF 189 KB] form by 14 August 2023 by email to pfp.pafp@cer-rec.gc.ca. The grant amount is the same regardless of the number of processes in which the recipient participates and covers all of Part 2 of the Review. For example, a group participating in three processes would receive a $10,000 grant, not $30,000. |
