Enhancing Transparency of Commission Decisions

In the interest of enhancing the transparency of our decision making, the Commission has decided to begin identifying the names of decision makers on all of the Commission’s regulatory decisions. Effective 17 January 2022, all issued correspondence which results from a panel or Commission decision will identify the specific decision makers for the file.

This new practice applies to any letter or other regulatory correspondence issued as a result of a decision rendered by a panel or the Commission in its adjudicative role (including decisions rendered by a panel within a hearing such as procedural updates, procedural directions, formal information requests, decisions on motions, etc.).
