NOVA Gas Transmission Ltd. – Willow Valley Interconnect

The Icefield Parkway (Highway 93) in autumn, Jasper National Park, Canada

Project Background

The Project is proposed to consist of the installation of a new meter station with two NPS 10 metre runs. The Project will be located entirely on freehold land in NW 34-078-19 W6M (meter station) and SW 02-079-19 W6M (valve site), approximately 45 kilometres west of Dawson Creek, British Columbia in the Peace River Regional District. The meter station will be located south of Road 212 on a recently disturbed area. The valve site will be located adjacent to NGTL’s Groundbirch Mainline in an agricultural area on the north side of the Road 212. Access will be gained off the adjacent Road 212, no new access is required. The Project will require the acquisition of approximately 0.83 hectares of new land, which includes about 20 metres of new pipeline right-of-way required to connect the proposed meter station to the proposed valve site. Temporary workspace is anticipated to be required for construction of the Project.
