Project Background

NGTL GP Ltd. (NGTL GP), as general partner on behalf of NGTL Limited Partnership, has filed an application for the Wilson Ridge No. 2 Receipt Meter Station. The proposed project involves installation of a new 884U ultrasonic meter station including an NPS 8-meter run (approximately 7 m), NPS 4 return run (approximately 5 m), sour protection facilities consisting of 36 m of above-ground NPS 48 pipe, associated buildings and NPS 8-yard piping (approximately 140 m). The Project will be located entirely on Crown land in SE 24-068-07 W6M and SW 19-068-06 W6M, approximately 14 km south of Grovedale, Alberta. The Project will require the acquisition of approximately 0.43 ha of new land. Temporary workspace is anticipated to be required for the construction on and off existing NGTL GP dispositions. The metering facility will tie into NGTL’s existing NPS 48 Grande Prairie Mainline Loop No. 3 – Elmworth Section 1.

Project construction is planned to commence on 1 February 2027, with an expected project-in-service date of 11 June 2027.
