NGTL GP Ltd., Dimsdale Interconnect Meter Station Project Notification
Project Background
NGTL GP Ltd. (NGTL GP), as general partner on behalf of NGTL Limited Partnership has filed an application for the Dimsdale Interconnect Meter Station. The Project will consist of the installation of a skid-mounted meter run building and a separator, an NPS 16 ultrasonic meter run (2–16164U), an NPS 4 orifice return run, an instrument building, Approximately 140 m of NPS 16 yard piping, Approximately 144 m of NPS 48 sour bottles, a new access to connect to the existing county high-grade road.
The metering facility will have a dual tie-in connection to the NPS 48 Grande Prairie Mainline Loop (GPML) No. 2 Huallen section and NPS 42 GPML Loop Beaverlodge.
The Project will be located entirely on previously disturbed freehold land in NW 32-071- 09 W6M, in the County of Grande Prairie No. 1, Alberta, approximately 5 km east of Beaverlodge, Alberta. The Project will require the acquisition of approximately 0.58 ha of new land for a meter station and access road and 1.62 ha of temporary workspace (TWS) outside the existing Right of Way (ROW).
Project construction is anticipated to start in April 2026 for a duration of approximately two months, and planned in-service in July 2026.
