NGTL GP Ltd. (NGTL GP) Kainai Interconnect Project

Project Background

NGTL GP Ltd. (NGTL GP) as general partner on behalf of NGTL Limited Partnership, has filed a project notification for the Kainai Interconnect (Project). The proposed Project would be located on an existing NGTL GP pipeline right-of-way easement and on Blood 148 Reserve land within SW 28-007-22 W4M approximately 16 kilometers south of Lethbridge, Alberta. Approximately 0.34 hectares of temporary workspace is anticipated to be required for the construction of the Project. The proposed Project involves the installation of a Nominal Pipe Size (NPS) 1.5 hot tap to the existing NGTL GP NPS 6 Baileys Bottom Lateral and approximately 15 metres of NPS 1.5 pipe to supply gas to a customer. The expected application submission date for the Project is 6 January 2026.
