NGTL GP Ltd., as general partner on behalf of NGTL Limited Partnership - Chambers Creek North Receipt Meter Station

Project Background

NGTL GP Ltd., as general partner on behalf of NGTL Limited Partnership (NGTL GP), has filed an application for the Chambers Creek North Receipt Meter Station Project. The proposed project will involve the construction of a new receipt meter station on the NGTL System approximately 37 km northeast of Nordegg, Alberta. The purpose of the Project is to provide metering facilities for the measurement of natural gas to meet receipt transportation service contract requirements.

The Project will be located on Crown land and will consist of the installation of a new 880U-4 ultrasonic meter station, including a new 8-inch outside diameter (NPS 8) meter run, a 4-inch (NPS 4) return meter run, associated buildings, and approximately 140 m of NPS 8 yard piping. The meter station will connect to the existing NGTL NPS 42 Edson Mainline Loop No. 2 – Nordegg Section through a hot tap tie-in connection and will include a permanent access road.

Construction of the Project is anticipated to occur between May and June 2027, with an expected in-service date of July 2027.
