Companies holding an operating license under the Canada Oil and Gas Operations Act for 2020–21
As per the Transparency Guidelines for Information under the Canada Oil and Gas Operations Act, before carrying out any work or activity, an operator must first obtain an Operating Licence which is issued for a maximum period of one year and is valid from their commencement date to the March 31st following.
The statutory requirement for an operating licence is under Section 5(1)(a) of the Canada Oil and Gas Operations Act.
